Christa Vanderleest - Girls on the Run of Central Iowa

On June 22nd, we had Christa Vanderleest with Girls on the Run of Central Iowa spoke to the Rotary Club.    Girls on the Run is part of the YMCA organization.   Girls on the Run started in 1996 and is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.   Their mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience based curriculum.  It is a program for young girls in 3rd-5th grade.  They have a program in every Waukee elementary school except for Eason Elementary.   Thank you Christa for stopping by!!
