On July 13th, Mark Good joined us to talk about Prostate Cancer and the Zero Prostate Cancer Run/Walk. Mark is a Prostate Cancer survivor. He gave us some interesting statistics about prostate cancer. 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Nearly 100% of men diagnosed with prostate cancer in its early states are still alive five years after diagnosis. In 2017, 1,430 men in Iowa will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and 280 will lose their battle to this disease. The Zero Prostate Cancer Run/Walk will be on 9/16/17.
