Mark Phillips - Polk County Continuum of Care Board

On August 25, 2016, Mark Phillips, director of the Polk County Continuum of Care Board spoke to the Rotary Club.   The Continuum of care board provides care and opportunities for the homeless in Polk County and the Metro.   In 2015, there were 830 homeless persons in Des Moines and 3,081 in the state of Iowa.   In 2016, the number of homeless in Des Moines decreased to 793.     Thank you Mark for speaking to the club!
