Des Moines Playhouse - Jon Viars and Nikki Severson

On September 11, 2014, John Viars and Nikki Severson from the Des Moines Playhouse joined us.   The Des Moines Playhouse has been in Des Moines for over 95 years and their motto is "More than a theatre."    They are the 6th oldest and 2nd largest theatre in the country.   In 2013, they had 292 performances, 1,700 people volunteered their time and 12,000 kids joined in their education program.   They also had $1.1 million in ticket sales with 63,000 people attending different shows.   They have a 400 seat main stage theatre and a 250 seat children's theatre.
