Dallas County Jail
On March 9th, Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard, Dallas County Supervisor Mark Hanson and Waukee Police Chief John Quinn spoke to the Waukee Rotary about the new Law Enforcement Center that goes to vote on May 2, 2017. The new jail will be almost 57,000 SF and have approximately 122 beds and 8 special needs beds. They said that currently most Dallas County prisoners are housed in Story and Boone County jails.
